Isabelle Dyckerhoff (b. 1959) worked for many years as a journalist and stylist before presenting her painting to the general public. In many works occupying the interface between language and image and exploring the symbolism of language in pictures, she combines both media. Colour as a material and pictorial object always forms the focal point of her non-representational colour-field painting. Contributions by Jörg Daur and Ludwig Seyfarth round out this monographic volume.
