Description

This pocket-sized book-with fold-out map, expandable pocket, and ribbon page marker-includes Ines de la Fressange’s favorite addresses for fashion and home goods with Parisian flair.

Ines de la Fressange embodies the iconic Parisienne, combining elegance and chic, effortlessly. This new pocket guide to Paris is the perfect accompaniment to her best-selling book Parisian Chic and its new sequel The Secrets of Parisian Chic.

For personal style, she unearths handcrafted statement accessories from artisanal jewelers or shops for classic staples in army-navy surplus stores. She knows when to splurge on her beauty regime for a transformative spa treatment or how to score a bargain in the drugstore make-up aisle. A designer handbag is an investment with staying power, but for trendy items she opts for chain stores. For the home, she combines key designer pieces like sofas or tables with vintage finds, outlet store basics, and travel mementos for an eclectic, intimate interior. And after a hard day’s shopping on the city’s cobbled streets, she enjoys nothing more than leisurely sipping a glass of wine on a café terrace followed by duck magret in a Belle Epoque bistro.

This book is an indispensable resource for all things Parisienne-from fashion and beauty sources to restaurant and leisure activities.
