Gareth Kershaw started his career as a sculptor in London before turning his skills to fashion. As an educator, practitioner and now researcher he began his 18 year career teaching pattern cutting and fashion design in South East Asia, United Kingdom and now Australia were he lectures at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University.

Alongside his teaching, he continues to worked on many projects involving fashion design (menswear & sportswear) creative cutting women's & men's, draping, tailoring and product engineering. Many of his students have successful careers in fashion.
