Description

If you could have dinner with any artist, who would it be?

Deep in a wheat field, under a starry night sky, a postman, two legendary women and three painters come together for a picnic. But it’s not your usual picnic. Vincent van Gogh invites you to eat bread, drink wine and smell the sunflowers as you try to find a portrait in a haystack. Artists Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Paul Gauguin are joined by Vincent’s favourite people in this celebration of colour, letters and life.

Do you know why van Gogh painted sunflowers? Or why he created so many self-portraits? Did you know that if not for his sister-in-law he would never have become famous? Twenty-one interesting facts are hidden in the illustration. Take up the challenge of this 1000-piece puzzle and then lift the lid to reveal van Gogh’s unique story.
