About the Author
Charlotte Gastaut was born and raised in Marseille, surrounded by the fabric her mother creates and rocked by the tales her father read to her. She left her hometown to study at the Penninghen school in Paris. She thus achieved her dream: making children's books. Twenty years later she became a famous illustrator and author. She finds inspiration in her childhood memories, books and images that fill her life. Today, it is she who gives the pleasure of books to her children.
