A rich visual exploration of Brancusi's art and studio through the artist's own photographs
For Constantin Brancusi (1876-1957), the studio was far more than a workshop. It was his residence, a space for social exchange and performance, and a laboratory for experimentation-the center of his world. This publication offers a rare glimpse into that world through a stunning photographic portrait of the studio, seen through Brancusi's own lens. Featuring 132 photographs taken by the artist, it captures the studio and the objects and people that animated it, including many of his best-known sculptures, as well as drawings, photographs, and films.
