About the Author
Evelien De Vlieger is a Dutch writer and translator - and a proud chicken owner! She creates quirky, contemporary stories, often laced with subtle humour. Her body of work spans nonfiction, picture books, early reader stories and YA novels.
Jan Hamstra is a freelance illustrator and printmaker based in Groningen, The Netherlands. A member of the illustration collective Knetterijs, he also works as a screen printer for Vera Groningen.
