About the Author
Stephen Krensky has now written more than 130 fiction and nonfiction children’s books, including novels, picture books, easy readers, and biographies. Among his favorites are the four earlier books in the Empowerment series––Now I Am Big!, I Can Do It Myself!, I Know a Lot!, and I Am So Brave! He lives with his wife in Lexington, Massachusetts. They have two grown sons.
Sara Gillingham is an award-winning art director, designer, and artist who has published more than 15 books for young children. She lives with her family in British Columbia.
