The first complete history of Louis Vuitton's menswear collections, from Marc Jacobs' first designs in 1999 to groundbreaking contemporary shows by Pharrell Williams in 2026, presented through catwalk photography.
With 2.5 million copies in print, each cloth-bound volume in the official and authorized Catwalk series is produced in close collaboration with the world's top fashion houses. These treasure troves of inspiration are must-have references for all fashion fans and professionals.
Louis Vuitton was founded in 1854 as a luxury leather-goods house, but it was their first fashion collections in the 1990s that led to the global acclaim the brand holds today. Vuitton's menswear designers have been instrumental in this journey, from Marc Jacobs, Paul Helbers and Kim Jones to Virgil Abloh, all of whom injected a wave of innovation into the industry. Pharrell Williams's lavish recent collections have demonstrated how Louis Vuitton continues to revitalize not just menswear, but the future of fashion.
The book opens with an introduction before exploring over 50 collections, with biographies for each designer, and over 1200 carefully curated catwalk images that showcase hundreds of spectacular clothes, details, accessories and set designs.
