Amy Novesky is the award-winning author of numerous books for children, including the beloved Love Is series. Her work has been recognized for its lyrical storytelling and heartfelt celebration of childhood. She lives just north of San Francisco.
Sara Gillingham is an award-winning illustrator, designer, and art director whose distinctive graphic style has delighted young readers around the world. Together they created the charming Love Is books-Love Is a Tutu, Love Is a Truck, Love Is a Ball, and Love Is a Puppy-which celebrate the passions, interests, and everyday joys of young children through simple rhymes and irresistible illustrations. She lives with her family in Vancouver, Canada.
