About the Authors

Martin Parr was one of Britain's best-known photographers, with a broad worldwide following. A former President of the Magnum photo agency, he exhibited internationally. His many influential photo-books include The Last Resort: Photographs of New Brighton (1986), The Cost of Living (1989), Small World (1995) and Think of England (2000). His autobiography, Utterly Lazy and Inattentive: Martin Parr in Words and Pictures, was published in 2025.

Andy Cochrane is the Curator for the Lacock and North Wiltshire portfolio at the National Trust. His work primarily focuses on Lacock Abbey, which is celebrated as the 'Home of Photography' and the Fox Talbot Museum."
