About the Author

Award-winning author Davide Calì started writing children's books in 2000, and since then he has published more than 100 titles in over 30 countries. He is the author of the bestselling I Didn't Do My Homework Because… which has garnered nearly 50 editions across the series. Miguel Tanco is a children's book author and illustrator born in 1972 in Extremadura, Spain. He teaches illustration and organises creative workshops with children and illustrators around Europe and has published over 40 children's books. Miguel has received awards including the Bologna Book Fair Mention, 2010-2012, Children's Show N.o 9 of 3×3 Magazine of Contemporary Illustration 2014 and 2016, The AOI Mention of Illustration 2016 and Biennale Ilustrarte 2018. He lives in Milan with his wife Federica and their two sons, Pablo and Javier.
