Flemish painter Jan Van Eyck is one of Belgium's most significant artists, famous for his early contributions to the Northern Renaissance movement of the 15th century. His polyptych classic, the Ghent Altarpiece (or The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb), is considered a masterpiece of European art and one of the most influential paintings ever made. About the Authors
Jan Van Der Veken is a Belgian illustrator. Born in Ghent, he studied graphic design and typography at the Sint-Lucas School of Architecture in Ghent. Harry De Paepe is a history teacher and the editor of the online Flemish political magazine Doorbraak.be. He is the co-author of Stiff Upper Lips (Uitgeverij Vrijdag, 2017).
