Jo Turner was born with a passion for books and has had the great fortune to build a career doing what she loves: crafting knowledge and ideas into beautiful, accessible books for audiences around the world. She is the great granddaughter of a gardener from East Sussex, the granddaughter of a woman who grew and preserved fruit and vegetables to feed her large family, and the daughter of a passionate flower gardener and jam maker.
Rachel Russell is an Australian artist and illustrator whose work draws inspiration from the natural world and the poetry of everyday life. Guided by curiosity and a love for detail, she delights in watching gardens change with the seasons or wandering the streets of a new city, recording it all in her colourful sketchbook. Through close observation and lyrical precision, she transforms the ordinary into the magical, inviting moments of wonder and reflection.
