An in-depth exploration of Chinese Surrealism by the esteemed critic and art historian Lü Peng
This catalogue is the accompanying publication of the exhibition Reality, Surreality-Major Exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Painting, specially organized by renowned art historian and curator Lü Peng at the Museum of Contemporary Art & Urban Planning in Shenzhen.
Bringing together 50 artists and more than 100 works, the exhibition reconsiders Surrealism as a broad and evolving concept that has transcended stylistic boundaries.
