About the Author

John Hendrix is a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator whose work blends words and images to bring history, storytelling, and big ideas vividly to life. His books include The Mythmakers: The Remarkable Fellowship of C. S. Lewis & J. R. R. Tolkien, an Eisner Award-nominated graphic novel named a Best Children's Book of 2024 by The New York Times; The Faithful Spy: Dietrich Bonhoeffer and the Plot to Kill Hitler, an NPR Best Book; Drawing Is Magic: Discovering Yourself in a Sketchbook; and The Holy Ghost: A Spirited Comic, among others.
