About the Author

Isobel Joy Te Aho-White is an artist of Maori, British and Danish ancestry who lives in Poneke/Wellington city. Isobel's illustrations often incorporate plant life and kowhaiwhai that are native to Aotearoa New Zealand. She has illustrated several children's books for Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Huia Publishers, Te Papa Press and OneTree House.
