He authored over 20 books, including the definitive "Making of" series for the Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogies, which are celebrated for their meticulous research and behind-the-scenes depth. A graduate of New York University and Parsons School of Design, Rinzler brought a scholar's eye to the intersection of cinema and art, making him the preeminent historian of the Star Wars production legacy.
