About the Author

Molly Hatch is an internationally renowned ceramic artist, illustrator, designer, and author whose signature blend of 18th-century aesthetics and modern whimsy has captured a global following.
Bridging the worlds of fine art and functional design, Hatch is best known for her monumental, hand-painted ceramic plate installations featured in prestigious institutions worldwide, including permanent collections at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, the Newark Museum of Art, and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Beyond her museum commissions, her distinctive, painterly patterns have launched highly successful worldwide collections of lifestyle products, tableware, and textiles.
As an author and illustrator, Hatch transforms traditional decorative motifs into interactive print experiences. Her celebrated Uplifting Editions series for Abrams Books-including Happy Day and Thinking of You-reimagines the historical Victorian language of flowers, converting beautifully rendered illustrations into dimensional, 3D paper bouquets designed to be kept, displayed, and treasured. She works from her studio in Florence, Massachusetts.
