About the Authors

David Musgrove is content director of Britain's leading history magazine, HistoryExtra magazine, and its sister website and podcast. He is also the author of the bestselling 100 Places That Made Britain.

Michael Lewis is Curator of the Bayeux Tapestry Exhibition at the British Museum and Visiting Professor at the universities of Exeter, Helsinki and Reading. He is an expert on the Bayeux Tapestry, writing many books and articles, and also a member of the Bayeux Museum's Bayeux Tapestry scientific committee since 2013. He is the Honorary Secretary of the Society for Medieval Archaeology.
