Most self-help books teach you to make better choices, The Unpredictable Choice teaches you to make different ones-reset your brain, break old patterns, and unlock the confidence for a radically joyful life
The Unpredictable Choice walks you through four actions that have the power to reset your thinking and lead you toward the extraordinary life you never thought possible. This is an invitation to make a bold third choice-the one you couldn't see before. The rule: have the audacity to be more daring! Don't just book the spa day, take a week alone somewhere you've always wanted to see. Don't just ask for the raise; walk into the meeting with an offer from a competitor. Don't just call it a passion; get the degree, even at 50. Don't just talk about the business idea; sell your first one before the product even exists.
Every day you find yourself thinking, "I can't." The unpredictable choice breaks those exact thought patterns that have kept you stuck and begins building the life you want.
In this transformative self-help guide, Queer Eye star and NBC talk show host Karamo blends the psychology of habit and emotion, the neuroscience of decision-making, and of course his signature heart, humor, and wisdom to show how escaping default decisions can unlock radical growth, healthier relationships, and a more exceptional life. By using Karamo's tried and tested Four Keys, Accept, Act, Acknowledge, and Align, readers will walk away with:
- Practical tools
- Research-backed strategies
- Unforgettable, empowering anecdotes
- Transformative lessons for everyday life
Are you ready for liberation, connection, and purpose? Ready for a better life? Then make the Unpredictable Choice.
KARAMO, the former culture expert on Netflix's Queer Eye, previously worked as social worker and psychotherapist who was first introduced to audiences on MTV's The Real World in 2004 and continued to build their trust as a host on Dr. Drew Live, HuffPost Live, and Access Hollywood Live. Karamo now hosts his own daytime talk show, Karamo, with NBC. He also founded 6in10, an organization that provides mental health support and education to the LGBTQ+ community. He lives in Los Angeles with his two sons.
