About the Authors

Nelly Buchet has written more than a dozen children’s books which have received numerous awards, including the Irma Black Award for Excellence in Children’s Literature and the ALA Notable. Her work has been celebrated by Publishers Weekly, School Library Journal, Kirkus Reviews, and more. Buchet was short-listed for the Ezra Jack Keats Award. French American and born in France, she currently splits her time between Italy and Germany. Elizabeth Haidle is the creative director for Illustoria magazine and the illustrator of several books for young readers, including Christo and Jeanne-Claude Wrap the World, written by G. Neri. Haidle lives in Portland, Oregon.
