Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is a Spanish children's author best known for creating the Little People, BIG DREAMS series which has now sold more than 14 million copies worldwide. She writes stories that introduce young readers to real lives, big ideas and meaningful questions through clear, accessible and honest language. With a background shaped by a deep love of storytelling, art, and creative exploration, Maria Isabel believes children's books can be both gentle and profound. Her work aims to spark curiosity, empathy, and confidence, offering stories that invite children to think, imagine, and feel deeply. Under the Olive Moon began when Isa started to talk with Nour Ferwana, a writer and mother from Gaza.

Nour Ferwana is a writer from the Gaza strip, who holds a bachelors degree in business. Shaped by a lived experience during war, Nour began to co-write this book as a way of offering comfort and resilience to her two small children. In turn, her work offers readers everywhere a space for safety, where light and hope can be found. Under the Olive Moon is her first book for children.

Raahat Kaduji is an artist and writer based in Oxford, UK. Her award-winning picture books are deeply rooted in fable and nature. Raahat supports the Palestinian Relief Fund, auctioning prints to raise funds for the charity.
