About the Author

David W. Miles is an author, illustrator, designer, and publisher who has created dozens of popular books for children, including Unicorn (and Horse), Book, and Allegro. He holds a degree from Brigham Young University and is the co-founder of Bushel & Peck Books, a mission-driven children's publisher that donates a book to a child in need for every book sold. He lives in California with his family.
Hollie Mengert is an illustrator, animator, and character designer based in Los Angeles, California. She holds a BFA in Design and Animation and has created artwork for children's books, comics, games, and major animation studios, including Disney TVA, Nickelodeon, Netflix, and DreamWorks. Her picture book illustration work includes Unicorn (and Horse), Luis and Tabitha, and the popular Sparkleton chapter book series.
