About the Authors

Anne Marie Houppert is a senior librarian at the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine in Washington, DC. She has published articles in industry journals and authored a blog for National Geographic called NG Revisited. What About X? is her first picture book. She lives in Rockville, Maryland.

Daniel Wiseman is the illustrator of many picture books and board books, including Rad! and When Your Lion Needs a Bath. He lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his family.
