About the Authors
Alexandra Ault received a BA and MA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art and a PhD from UCL - focusing on Victorian prints and the art market. She is currently Lead Curator of Manuscripts 1601-1850 at the British Library, having previously worked at major London auction houses and the National Portrait Gallery.
