The goal of the Böhme Collection is to process, preserve and present unique works of art. This vivid and richly illustrated catalogue contributes to a critical examination of the past, allowing the art from that period to be seen and the stories to live on. With fifty new biographies and an expanded inventory of around seven hundred works with related texts, this volume opens another chapter of engagement with a challenging legacy.

About the Authors
The physician and museum founder Professor Dr Heinz R. Böhme was born in Leipzig in 1932 and collects art from the Lost Generation.
