About the Authors

Hélène Druvert is an illustrator, paper and textile designer. She is the author of two other laser-cut books, Paris Up, Up and Away, Mary Poppins Up, Up and Away and (with her father, Jean-Claude), Anatomy, all published by Thames & Hudson. Emmanuelle Grundmann is a renowned biologist, naturalist and nature journalist, specializing in the protection and the re-introduction of great monkeys in Africa and Asia. She is also the president of the Awely Association. Grundmann is the author of one other book for children, Zoo-ology.
