Sir Thomas Malory, (flourished c. 1470), English writer whose identity remains uncertain but whose name is famous as that of the author of Le Morte D'Arthur, the first prose account in English of the rise and fall of the legendary king Arthur and the fellowship of the Round Table. Even in the 16th century, Malory's identity was unknown, although there was a tradition that he was a Welshman. // John Matthews is a No.1 New York Times bestselling author, because of his smash hit children's title Pirates (2007), which spent 22 weeks at No.1. In addition, Matthews is a BAFTA-winning producer. The author of more than one hundred books on King Arthur and related subjects and editor of the definitive modern edition of the full Le Morte D'Arthur (Cassell / Barnes & Noble), he is the world authority on Arthurian legend. // Will Sweeney is an Emmy award-winning animator (Spawn II, 1999), Annie award nominated storyboard artist (The Big Guy, 2001) and 4Kids Entertainment Storyboarder (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 2004).
