Vanities celebrates an extraordinary private collection of gold, silver and jewelled boxes made to contain cosmetics, lipsticks, mirrors, combs and change.

The examples displayed here in all their miniature glory range from an exquisite early-Ching-period box to dazzling contemporary designs; but all are little miracles of the art and craft of the metal worker and the jeweller.
